Welcome to Tig's Table!
Hi! I am Antigone, but friends call me Tig. There is something that happens around a kitchen table that does not happen anywhere else. People slow down. They talk. They laugh. They try new things.
I grew up in a Greek household where the kitchen was the heart of everything. My family did not just teach me how to cook, they taught me how to talk, listen, and belong. The smells of garlic, lemon, and olive oil are woven into some of my earliest and happiest memories.
I am also an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, which means I spend my days helping children find their words. At some point I realized the kitchen was doing the same thing all along, naturally, joyfully, without anyone even noticing.
That is what Tig's Table is about. Real recipes, real conversations, and a little language sprinkled in. Whether you are making cookies with a toddler or spanakopita with a ten-year-old, there is always something to talk about.
Come cook with us. The table is set.
